Marketing & Development Coordinator
Stafford Air & Space Museum – City of Weatherford
The City of Weatherford is accepting applications for a full-time MARKETING &
DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR at Stafford Air & Space Museum. The Stafford
Museum is a rapidly-growing non-profit organization that has gained regional and
national importance. The position will be multi-faceted, but focused on
marketing the museum locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally. This
position will also be in charge of researching, writing, and submitting grant
proposals for support funding.
A college degree in marketing or related field, and at least three years’ experience
in marketing and development work, preferably in non-profits, is required. Must
have experience with all forms of media and publicity, and be social media and
website savvy. A strong working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily
Photoshop is a strong plus. Must be creative with the ability to find inexpensive
solutions to marketing needs. Must have excellent writing skills, and strong
computer capabilities, including Excel and Word, and be a strong communicator.
Must have the willingness to develop a working knowledge and enthusiasm for
aviation and space history, work closely in a team environment, and present a
positive image of the museum to the public. For a full listing of job
